What a simple tweet can do with ones heartbeat is incredible. XDA Recognized Developer Cotulla tweeted a link to a Youtube video showing what appears to be an HTC HD7 running Windows Mobile. It seems to be some kind of emulator which runs Windows Mobile 6.1 on top of Windows Phone 7. There are so many sites out there now that offer that “daily deal” that it is hard to keep track of them all. There aren’t many custom ROMs for Windows Phone 7 devices because, let’s face it, there simply isn’t the same kind of need as there was on Windows Mobile (or still is on Android). But nonetheless, with some Windows Phones getting unlocked and everything, custom ROMs have emerged for them, and one of the most popular ones is Deepshining for the HTC HD7.

While Nokia’s first Windows Phone, the Lumia 800, has been critically acclaimed for its unique industrial design, it has had its fair share of issues regarding battery life and audio and camera quality. In a statement posted on its official support forums, Nokia says that the recent 1600.2483.8106.11500 update indeed fixes all problems related to battery life, according to internal testing.

It’s about that time of year again, as hardware manufacturers prepare to descend upon Barcelona to unveil phones we will collectively drool about but not see for another couple of months.
Today HTC started to send some invitations to HTC’s press event for February 26th, by “chance” only one day before Mobile World Congress Starts in Barcelona. Despite their many efforts, Sony has never been especially popular in the Android world. They have some very nice looking devices, but they have never been able to achieve the popularity of HTC, Samsung, or Motorola with their Android offerings.
